Transparency Policy

Last Updated: August 25, 2026

Dealquestzone is committed to operating with openness and accountability. This Transparency Policy describes how we communicate our practices, decisions, and operations to the people who use our platform. We believe that trust is built through clarity, and this document reflects our ongoing commitment to honest communication with our users, partners, and the broader community.

1. Purpose and Scope

This policy applies to all aspects of how Dealquestzone collects, uses, shares, and protects information related to its users and platform operations. It covers our data practices, content moderation principles, business relationships, and the standards we hold ourselves to when making decisions that affect our community.

This policy is intended to complement, not replace, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Where those documents describe rules and obligations, this document explains the reasoning and principles behind them.

2. Data Collection and Use

2.1 What We Collect

We collect information that users provide directly, information generated through use of the platform, and information obtained from third-party services where users have granted permission. This includes account registration details, usage activity, payment records, and communications submitted through our platform.

2.2 Why We Collect It

Data is collected solely to operate and improve the platform, personalise the learning experience, process transactions, provide customer support, and meet our legal and operational obligations. We do not collect data for purposes beyond what is reasonably necessary to deliver our services.

2.3 How Long We Retain It

Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected. We retain account information for as long as an account remains active and for a defined period afterward. Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations. Users may request deletion of their data subject to the limitations described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

3.1 Service Providers

We work with third-party service providers to operate our platform. These providers are granted access only to the data necessary to perform their specific functions and are contractually required to handle that data in accordance with our standards and applicable law.

3.2 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users in advance where reasonably practicable and in accordance with our legal obligations.

3.3 Legal Requests

We may disclose information when required to do so by law, court order, or lawful request from a government authority. We evaluate such requests carefully and disclose only what is legally required. Where permitted by law, we will notify affected users of such requests.

3.4 No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell personal information to third parties for their independent marketing or commercial purposes.

4. Content and Platform Decisions

4.1 Content Standards

All content published on the Dealquestzone platform is subject to our content guidelines. These guidelines define what types of material are permitted, what is prohibited, and how we handle content that falls into ambiguous categories. Our standards are designed to maintain a high-quality, respectful, and legally compliant learning environment.

4.2 Moderation Practices

Content moderation is carried out through a combination of automated systems and human review. When content is removed or restricted, the affected user will be notified with a reason where this is operationally feasible. Users may appeal moderation decisions through the process described in our Terms of Service.

4.3 Algorithmic Recommendations

Our platform uses algorithmic systems to recommend content, match users with relevant masterclasses, and personalise the learning experience. These systems consider factors such as previous activity, stated preferences, and engagement patterns. We do not use recommendation systems to promote content based on undisclosed commercial arrangements.

5. Pricing and Commercial Relationships

5.1 Pricing Transparency

All fees, subscription costs, and one-time charges are displayed clearly before any purchase is completed. We do not apply hidden fees. Any applicable taxes or additional charges are itemised at checkout.

5.2 Promotional Offers

When promotional pricing or discounts are offered, the terms and conditions of those offers, including eligibility, duration, and any restrictions, are disclosed at the point of promotion.

5.3 Instructor and Partner Relationships

Instructors and content partners on our platform may receive compensation based on enrolments, revenue sharing, or fixed arrangements. The existence of these commercial relationships does not influence editorial decisions about how content is presented or ranked on the platform.

5.4 Sponsored Content

Any content that is sponsored, promoted, or otherwise supported by a commercial arrangement will be clearly labelled as such. Sponsored content is subject to the same quality and accuracy standards as all other content on the platform.

6. Security Practices

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect user data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These measures are reviewed and updated regularly in line with industry standards.

In the event of a data breach that affects user data, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with our legal obligations and within the timeframes required by applicable regulations.

7. Platform Changes and Updates

7.1 Policy Changes

When we make material changes to this policy or any related policy, we will provide notice through the platform and, where appropriate, by email. The updated policy will include a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7.2 Feature Changes

We may add, modify, or discontinue platform features over time. Where a change significantly affects how users interact with the platform or access their content, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

7.3 Service Availability

We aim to maintain consistent platform availability. Planned maintenance that affects service access will be communicated in advance where possible. Unplanned outages will be acknowledged and communicated through our standard support channels.

8. User Rights and Controls

Users have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their personal data, subject to applicable legal requirements and the limitations described in our Privacy Policy. Users may also request a copy of their data in a portable format.

Users can manage communication preferences, notification settings, and data sharing options through their account settings. Requests that cannot be fulfilled through self-service tools can be submitted to our support team.

9. Accountability

Dealquestzone designates internal responsibility for compliance with this policy and related data protection obligations. Staff who handle user data receive appropriate training and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

We conduct periodic internal reviews of our practices to assess compliance with this policy and to identify areas for improvement. Findings from these reviews inform updates to our policies and operational procedures.
